We would like to introduce a case study from City Hall D in Tokyo. Before the implementation, bicycles were parked in a two-tier rack, which caused issues such as difficulty in parking on the upper level. By using a combination of front-wheel type and slide-type individual locks, we were able to significantly improve convenience without greatly reducing the number of bicycles accommodated. 【Issues Before Implementation】 ■ The facility's lighting was dim (fluorescent lights) ■ There was a conveyor belt only in part of the facility, making it difficult to carry bicycles to the upper floors ■ Bicycles were parked in a two-tier rack, making it difficult to park on the upper level *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

"Parking Concierge No. 18" is a publication issued by Tokai Giken, which manufactures and sells bicycle parking systems and parking management systems (Cycleun).
